Disaster Declarations in North Dakota – Minnesota, Montana, South Dakota Counties Also Affected
On March 18, 2015, USDA officially designated twenty-five counties as eligible for disaster assistance. A number of USDA programs designed to help farmers and ranchers suffering from natural disaster are now available. In some cases, farms and ranches in counties that border on designated disaster counties are also eligible for assistance. That means producers in additional South Dakota counties, as well as in some Minnesota, Montana, and South Dakota counties may be eligible for benefits.
